(Technologies for) Image Communications

The complete chain of analog and digital image processing is in the centre of this lecture. This includes image acquisition, recording, processing, transmission, portrayal, and perception. The first part is focussed on the principles of the hardware, whereas the second part is mainly dealing with concepts for transmission.
